Busy New Year!

What an incredibly busy few weeks it's been! Four interviews scheduled in the first 6 weeks of this new year! I wanted to take a minute to send a huge thanks out to my guests who recorded sessions for Acoustic Harmony Presents so far in 2007 and encourage you to check out their music, all are incredible muscians, singers and songwriters. David Lamotte kicked things off in early January, it was a real treat to record an interview and chat with David before his house concert in Plainfield (which was fabulous!). David's interview will air on Feb 24 on WGDR and should be posted up on this site shortly thereafter. Then another of my favorites, Patti Witten stopped by while she was in Vermont to record vocals for her friends "The Sensible Shoes". Patti is simply amazing, great songwriting and a beautiful voice. Patti's interview should air in about a month. The end of the month Caroline Doctorow was scheduled for a live appearance on Acoustic Harmony but had to reschedule, look for that interview to take place sometime this summer. Then finally just a week ago, Tim Grimm came by to record an interview while in Vermont for several shows. Tim's from south central Indiana which makes him near and dear to my heart, he's also also an amazing songwriter with a style that reminded me somewhat of Eric Taylor when I saw him play live. What a treat it was to get several brand new songs from Tim on tape (digital, that is!). Tim's interview will air in early spring sometime. A huge thanks to all of these folks for taking the time to record sessions for Acoustic Harmony Presents. Not only are they all incredible muscians, each one is just a really great and cool person! What a pleasure it was spending time with each one. I encourage you to check them all out!
